Connecting Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

CollectionsIQ Help · Getting started

To connect: open Integrations → Connect Meta and approve the Facebook dialog. CollectionsIQ requests read-only access to your ads data — it never changes campaigns or spends money.

Choosing an account. Pick the ad account that promotes this store's products in the Ads account selector.

The catalog setting (important for matching). Meta reports product performance by the retailer ID from your catalog. If your catalog IDs don't follow the common Shopify feed convention, set your Catalog ID on the Meta card — CollectionsIQ then reads your catalog's product URLs and bridges retailer IDs to Shopify products automatically. You can list several catalog IDs separated by commas if different ad accounts use different catalogs.

What we pull. Daily per-product insights: impressions, clicks, spend, purchase conversions, and conversion value, split by delivery country where available (see Markets: feed labels and countries). Note that product-level insights require catalog/Advantage+ shopping campaigns — classic link ads without a catalog don't produce per-product rows.

Token lifetime. Meta access tokens last about 60 days; CollectionsIQ renews them automatically in the background. If renewal fails (for example after a Facebook password change), the card shows Reconnect needed — one click restores syncing, and nothing you've built is lost.

To disconnect: Disconnect on the Meta card, with the same choice as Google — keep or remove the Meta-sourced data. Demo data and other platforms are untouched.
