Data Deletion

You are always in control of your data. There are three ways to have it deleted.

1. Uninstall the app (automatic)

Uninstalling an EcomIQ app from your Shopify admin immediately stops all processing and deletes the stored access tokens and connected ad-platform credentials for your store. Shopify also notifies us via the app/uninstalled webhook so cleanup happens automatically.

2. Disconnect an ad platform

Inside the app you can disconnect Google or Meta at any time. This deletes the stored credentials and aggregate metrics we hold for that platform.

3. Request full deletion

Email support@ecomiq.tools from your store contact, or use our support page, and ask us to delete your data. We will erase all data associated with your store within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

All data tied to your store: access tokens, ad-platform connections, aggregate per-product ad and sales metrics, category mappings, your collection rules, and run history. We retain no customer personal information at any time.

Shopify & Meta erasure requests

We honor Shopify's mandatory data-erasure webhooks (shop/redact, customers/redact) and Meta's data-deletion requests automatically.
